Specialist work such as chimney stabilization, retaining wall repair, masonry, or grouting is undertaken only within our actual capabilities and where expressly agreed in a written scope.
3. Evaluations and quotes
Submitting a form on this website is a request to discuss your property. It does not confirm an appointment, establish a price, or create a contract. Any evaluation charge is explained before a visit is scheduled.
An evaluation documents conditions that are visible and accessible at the time of the visit. Areas that are concealed or inaccessible are noted as such, and some questions require separate investigation by other professionals.
Quotes describe the proposed work, quantities, access assumptions, and exclusions. Conditions discovered during work that differ from those assumptions may require a change order, which is priced and approved before the additional work proceeds.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are quoted in USD and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Payment terms, including any deposit and progress payments, are set out in the written agreement for each project.
5. Scheduling and cancellation
Scheduled visits and work dates may be affected by weather, site conditions, permitting, or access. We will communicate changes as promptly as practicable. Where you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance where possible.
6. Access and site conditions
You are responsible for providing safe access to the areas where work is to be performed, including basement, crawl space, and exterior perimeter access, and for disclosing known hazards, buried utilities, and prior repairs. Work may be delayed or rescoped where access differs materially from the assumptions in the quote.
7. Permits, licensing, and engineering
Where a proposed scope requires a permit, the written scope states who is responsible for obtaining it. Tennessee licensing requirements apply to covered projects as described in the state's published guidance, and where a jurisdiction requires a stamped engineered design, that design is provided by a licensed professional engineer.
8. Warranties
Warranty terms, including covered work, duration, responsible company, transfer conditions, exclusions, and the service process, are set out in the warranty documentation for each project. Manufacturer warranties on installed products are provided by the manufacturer and governed by their terms.
We do not warrant that any repair will prevent all future movement, water entry, or moisture, and we do not promise to restore a building to its original position.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nashville Foundation Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
10. Website content
Content on this website is general information about foundation, basement, crawl space, drainage, and concrete topics. It is not a diagnosis of any specific property, and it is not engineering advice. Conditions at your property can only be established by an on-site assessment.
11. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Nashville Foundation Repair or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
12. Emergencies
Our contact channels are not an emergency response service. For an active collapse or immediate danger, move away from the affected area and seek emergency assistance.
13. Changes to these terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, and the last updated date above will reflect the revision.
